CANDELORA, 86th Dist. REP. KLARIDES, 114th Dist. SEN. MCKINNEY, 28th Dist. SEN. FASANO, 34th Dist. AN ACT PERMITTING MUNICIPAL AND STATE REVERSE AUCTIONS FOR SERVICES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 4a-60b of the general statutes be amended to expand the authority for municipalities, school districts and state agencies to use reverse auctions to purchase professional services or other service arrangements where such services are provided by persons other than employees of the state, municipalities or a school district. Statement of Purpose: To foster government cooperation on all levels in order to find cost savings while continuing to provide core services to the citizens of the state.
