AN ACT IMPLEMENTING THE LEAN PROCESS IN STATE GOVERNMENT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require all state agencies who have not already done so to implement the lean process for administrative processes within the agency with the assistance of the Labor Department.

Statement of Purpose: 

To find efficiency within state government by streamlining work processes that will result in cost savings and increased customer service satisfaction for the citizens of the state.
