AN ACT CONCERNING TUITION WAIVERS FOR VETERANS TAKING SUMMER AND INTERSESSION CLASSES AT PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That sections 10a-77, 10a-99 and 10a-105 of the general statutes be amended to require the board of trustees of the regional community-technical colleges, the Connecticut State University System and The University of Connecticut to waive tuition fees for summer and intersession classes for veterans. Statement of Purpose: To prohibit the regional community-technical colleges, the Connecticut State University System and The University of Connecticut from denying veterans a tuition waiver for summer and intersession classes.
