AN ACT AUTHORIZING INTERLOCAL AGREEMENTS TO PAY FOR THE SERVICES OF A RESIDENT STATE TROOPER.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 98 of the general statutes be amended to authorize two or more municipalities to enter into an interlocal agreement for the purpose of paying for the services of a resident state trooper.

Statement of Purpose: 

To allow towns to contract together for a resident state trooper.
