25 | 25 | That chapter 378 of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Public Health to issue a registered nurse license without examination pursuant to section 20-94 of the general statutes, or a licensed practical nurse license without examination pursuant to section 20-97 of the general statutes, to a nurse holding a substantially equivalent license or certificate in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, provided such nurse has actively practiced and maintained good standing in Puerto Rico for not less than five years. | |
