2623 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

28-Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2011) (a) The Commissioner of Transportation shall establish a program to provide a voucher or other document that may be used for transportation on any state-owned mass transportation, without charge. Such voucher shall be provided to any person who is a senior citizen and who donates a motor vehicle owned by such person to a qualified nonprofit organization.

30-(b) The commissioner shall adopt regulations, in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54 of the general statutes, to implement the provisions of this section.
