AN ACT REDEFINING "MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISE".
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 4a-60g of the general statutes be amended to redefine "minority business enterprise" to include only legitimately owned minority businesses.
Statement of Purpose:
To redefine minority business enterprise for purposes of the set-aside program to eliminate fraudulent contract awards.
