AN ACT REDUCING THE SALARIES OF MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 2-8 of the general statutes be amended to reduce the salaries of members of the General Assembly by ten per cent from 2011 to 2013, inclusive.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow legislators and state government to lead by example by living within their means in the same way all Connecticut residents are.
