AN ACT EXTENDING COVERAGE FOR DEALER CONVEYANCE FEES FOR THE PURCHASE OF REPLACEMENT VEHICLES FROM THE PROCEEDS OF MOTOR VEHICLE INSURANCE CLAIMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require automobile insurance companies to cover the conveyance fees charged by dealerships for the purchase of a replacement motor vehicle which is made from the proceeds of a motor vehicle insurance claim.
Statement of Purpose:
To require automobile insurance companies to cover the conveyance fees charged by dealerships for the purchase of a replacement vehicle from the proceeds of a motor vehicle insurance claim.
