AN ACT CONCERNING THE ENFORCEMENT OF MUNICIPAL ORDINANCES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to clarify that municipal regulations and ordinances may be enforced by citations issued by designated police officers or employees of an accredited police department with jurisdiction within a municipality.
Statement of Purpose:
To clarify that certain police officers may enforce local ordinances.
