AN ACT ESTABLISHING A "ROADSIDE MEMORIAL" SIGN PROGRAM FOR PERSONS KILLED IN MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENTS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to establish a "Roadside Memorial" sign program within the Department of Transportation, in memory of persons who have been killed in motor vehicle accidents; that such program shall authorize the immediate family of any such deceased person to purchase a sign bearing the name of such person from DOT; that the family of such person shall be responsible for all costs, including reasonable administrative costs, incurred by DOT for the purchase, erection and maintenance of such signs. Statement of Purpose: To establish a "Roadside Memorial" sign program in memory of persons who have been killed in motor vehicle accidents.
