REYNOLDS, 42nd Dist. REP. BECKER, 19th Dist. AN ACT CONCERNING EVIDENCE OF DRUNKEN DRIVING. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 14-227a of the general statutes be amended to provide a procedure for a police officer to obtain a blood or urine sample from an operator of a motor vehicle who has been injured in an accident when such police officer has probable cause to believe that such operator was under the influence of intoxicating liquor. Statement of Purpose: To reduce driving under the influence.
