21 | 21 | AN ACT DOUBLING THE FINES FOR MOVING MOTOR VEHICLE VIOLATIONS OCCURRING IN EMERGENCY RESPONSE AREAS. | |

23 | 23 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: | |

25 | 25 | That the Superior Court shall impose an additional fee equivalent to two times the fine established or imposed for the violation of the provisions of section 14-218a, 14-219, 14-220, 14-222, 14-223, 14-227a, 14-230a, 14-231, 14-232, 14-233, 14-234, 14-235, 14-236, 14-237, 14-238, 14-238a, 14-239, 14-240, 14-241, 14-242 or 14-243 of the general statutes for any such violation committed in an emergency response area; and that "emergency response area" means the scene of an accident that public safety, fire or emergency personnel have designated as such with flares. | |
