AN ACT CONCERNING SURETY BONDS AND CONTRACTS FOR PUBLIC PROJECTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 49-41 of the general statutes be amended to increase the threshold amount for contracts for public buildings and other public works to be subject to the surety bond requirement.
Statement of Purpose:
To subject fewer contracts to the surety bond requirement.
