AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE USE OF TRAFFIC CAMERAS BY MUNICIPALITIES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That municipalities be authorized to use camera equipment for purposes of enforcing traffic laws and to receive a portion of revenue generated by such equipment.

Statement of Purpose: 

To improve local traffic safety and provide municipalities with revenue.
