AN ACT NAMING A PORTION OF ROUTE 175 IN NEWINGTON THE "NEWINGTON POLICE DEPARTMENT MEMORIAL HIGHWAY".
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the portion of Route 75 in Newington that runs eastward from Fenn Road to Main Street be named the "Newington Police Department Memorial Highway".
Statement of Purpose:
To honor the men and women of the Newington Police Department who have served the town of Newington since 1947, including current and future members.
