(By Request) AN ACT REQUIRING PROFESSIONAL ROAD LESSONS FOR NEWLY LICENSED MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATORS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to require professional road lessons for newly licensed motor vehicle operators. Statement of Purpose: Driving is not a right; it is a privilege. In order to ensure more proficient drivers there should be mandatory professional road lessons for all new licensees.
