AN ACT EXEMPTING CERTAIN FAITH-BASED ORGANIZATIONS THAT OPERATE DROP-IN PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN FROM THE STATE'S YOUTH CAMP LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 19a-420 of the general statutes be amended to provide that certain faith-based organizations which operate drop-in programs for children shall be exempt from the state's youth camp licensure requirements. Statement of Purpose: To provide that certain faith-based organizations which operate drop-in programs for children shall be exempt from the state's youth camp licensure requirements.
