AN ACT PREVENTING UNWILLING EMPLOYEES FROM JOINING A UNION OR PAYING UNION DUES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to prohibit a union or an employer from requiring employees to join a union or pay any dues or fees to unions to represent them.

Statement of Purpose: 

To help attract investment, make Connecticut more attractive to business and create more job opportunities by making Connecticut a Right to Work state.
