AN ACT CONCERNING THE AVAILABILITY OF ACCIDENT RECORDS OF THE STATE POLICE. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 29-10c of the general statutes be amended to provide that records of the Division of State Police within the Department of Public Safety obtained, prepared or created in the investigation of an accident shall be available to any person involved in the accident subsequent to the issuance of a warrant or summons in any criminal action arising out of the accident or within thirty days of such accident, whichever is earlier. Statement of Purpose: To make accident records compiled by the state police available to any person involved in the accident in a timely manner.
