2424 AN ACT CONCERNING CHILDREN AND THE RECESSION.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) (a) The Department of Social Services, using the format prescribed by the results-based subcommittee of the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to appropriations and the budgets of state agencies, shall submit a results-based accountability report card on the policies and interventions promoted pursuant to sections 17b-4a, 17b-112i, 17b-112j and 17b-749l and subsection (a) of section 17b-800a of the general statutes. The department shall submit the report card on or before January 1, 2012, and annually thereafter, to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to appropriations and the budgets of state agencies, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes.

3030 (b) The Department of Education, using the format prescribed by the results-based subcommittee of the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to appropriations and the budgets of state agencies, shall submit a results-based accountability report card on the policies and interventions promoted pursuant to section 10-215h and subsection (b) of section 17b-800a of the general statutes. The department shall submit the report card on or before January 1, 2012, and annually thereafter, to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to appropriations and the budgets of state agencies, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes.

3232 (c) The Department of Public Health, using the format prescribed by the results-based subcommittee of the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to appropriations and the budgets of state agencies, shall submit a results-based accountability report card on the policies and interventions promoted pursuant to section 19a-59g of the general statutes. The department shall submit the report card on or before January 1, 2012, and annually thereafter, to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to appropriations and the budgets of state agencies, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes.
