2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 Section 1. (Effective from passage) (a) The Commissioner of Consumer Protection shall appoint a working group for the purpose of advising the commissioner regarding proposed statutory changes to alcoholic liquor permit fees contained in title 30 of the general statutes. Such advice shall include, but not be limited to, recommendations on the restructuring of such liquor permit fees to ensure individual permit holders are not charged fees that are disproportionate to fees charged to other permit holders under title 30 of the general statutes.

3030 (b) Not later than January 1, 2012, the Commissioner of Consumer Protection shall report, in accordance with section 11-4a of the general statutes, on any proposed statutory changes recommended by the working group established pursuant to subsection (a) of this act, to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to alcoholic beverages.
