26 | 26 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: | |

(Effective July 1, 2011) The Department of Education shall study issues involving English language learning in the state, including, but not limited to, professional certification and bilingual educator endorsements. Not later than January 1, 2012, the Commissioner of Education shall report on such study to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to education, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes. | |
