AN ACT CONCERNING ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2011) The Department of Public Utility Control shall initiate a docket to develop Connecticut-based renewable technologies. The department shall report, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, the findings of such docket to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to technology on or before February 1, 2012.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To determine how to continue the development of renewable technologies in the state.
