| 28 | 28 | Section 1. Subsection (h) of section 19a-750 of the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective July 1, 2011): | |

| 30 | 30 | (h) Not later than February 1, 2011, and annually thereafter until February 1, 2016, the chief executive officer of the authority shall report, in accordance with section 11-4a, to the Governor and the General Assembly on (1) any private or federal funds received during the preceding year and, if applicable, how such funds were expended, (2) the amount and recipients of grants awarded, [and] (3) the current status of health information exchange and health information technology in the state, (4) recommendations to promote greater availability and utilization of health information technology in the state's health care systems, and (5) state compliance with the provisions of the federal Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act, enacted as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, P.L. 111-5. | |
