AN ACT CONCERNING DEFINITIONS PERTAINING TO THE CONSTITUTIONAL SPENDING CAP.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 2-33a of the general statutes be amended, by a three-fifths vote of the members of each house of the General Assembly as required by Article Third, section 18 of the Connecticut Constitution, to define "increase in personal income", "increase in inflation" and "general budget expenditures" to implement the constitutional spending cap.
Statement of Purpose:
To implement the spending cap by adopting definitions of terms as required under Article Third, section 18 of the Connecticut Constitution.
