AN ACT CONCERNING INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR BREAST MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to require insurance coverage for magnetic resonance imaging of a breast or breasts when an annual mammogram demonstrates heterogeneous or dense breast tissue.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide insurance coverage for breast magnetic resonance imaging when an annual mammogram demonstrates heterogeneous or dense breast tissue.
