2121 AN ACT CONCERNING THE SAFE AND EFFECTIVE USE OF DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING SERVICES.

2323 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2525 That chapter 368v of the general statutes be amended to require that any health care institution that performs a computerized axial tomography diagnostic imaging service for the benefit of a patient shall record the radiation dose associated with such service and, in the event there is a radiation overdose attributable to such service, shall inform the patient and patient's physician of such overdose.
