(NEW) (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Environmental Protection shall establish staffing levels for the Department of Environmental Protection that enable the department to fully perform all of the department's permitting and enforcement responsibilities in a timely and responsive manner. Not later than February 1, 2012, the commissioner shall provide the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to the environment with a written copy of such staffing levels. | |
