AN ACT CONCERNING MULTIPLE OCCURRENCES OF THE SAME CANDIDATE'S NAME ON A BALLOT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to provide that a candidate's name may only appear once on a ballot and that if endorsed by more than one party, the candidate must choose one party.

Statement of Purpose: 

To alleviate confusion when completing a ballot.
