AN ACT CONCERNING THE LOCATION OF JURY SERVICE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 51 of the general statutes be amended to provide that no juror shall be summoned for jury duty at a court location in a judicial district or geographical area of the Superior Court that does not include the town or a portion of the town in which the juror resides.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide that no juror shall be summoned for jury duty at a court location in a judicial district or geographical area of the Superior Court that does not include the town or a portion of the town in which the juror resides.
