21 | 21 | AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND AN ANALYSIS OF EXISTING BUSINESS MANDATES AND REGULATIONS. | |

23 | 23 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: | |

25 | 25 | That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Economic and Community Development conduct a cost benefit analysis of all existing business mandates and regulations and submit a report of its findings to the General Assembly. Within thirty days of submitting said report, the General Assembly shall convene and vote to retain any mandate or regulation that has a cost to business that outweighs the benefits of the mandate or regulation. | |
