AN ACT CONCERNING POSTSECONDARY EDUCATIONAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR CHILDREN IN KINSHIP CARE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide postsecondary educational financial assistance for children that the Department of Children and Families place with relative caregivers in a kinship care living arrangement.
Statement of Purpose:
To encourage kinship care of children in the care or custody of the Department of Children and Families.
