AN ACT CONCERNING SMALL CLAIMS COURT JURISDICTION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 51-15 of the general statutes be amended to increase the maximum threshold for money damages in small claims actions from five thousand dollars to ten thousand dollars.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the maximum threshold for money damages in small claims actions from five thousand dollars to ten thousand dollars.
