AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE GENIUS STATUE UPON THE GOLD DOME.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the sum of ____ dollars be appropriated to the Joint Committee on Legislative Management, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2012, for purposes of moving the Genius statue from within the State Capitol building to the top of the gold dome of the State Capitol building and affixing said statue to the dome.
Statement of Purpose:
To allocate monies to move and affix the Genius statue that is currently in the State Capitol building to the top of the gold dome of the State Capitol.
