AN ACT PROHIBITING PROPERTY AND CASUALTY INSURERS FROM CHARGING LATE FEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to prohibit property and casualty insurers from assessing late fees on policyholders who make late premium payments.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit property and casualty insurers from assessing late fees on policyholders who make late premium payments.
