AN ACT ESTABLISHING A MINIMUM PER PUPIL LEVEL FOR ECS GRANTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-262h of the general statutes be amended to establish a minimum per pupil level for equalization aid grants to towns.
Statement of Purpose:
To achieve greater state participation in the funding of the state's public schools so as to relieve the property tax burden.
