AN ACT PROHIBITING THE USE OF EMINENT DOMAIN ON LANDS SUBJECT TO CONSERVATION EASEMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the use of eminent domain to take land that is subject to a conservation easement.
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent conserved lands from being taken by eminent domain.
