AN ACT CONCERNING A TAX ON SOFT DRINKS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to impose a tax on beverages, commonly known as soft drinks, that contain high levels of sugar and little or no nutritional qualities.
Statement of Purpose:
To impose a tax on soft drinks.
