AN ACT PLACING A MORATORIUM ON NEW UCONN 2000 AND CSUS 2020 BOND PROJECTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) impose a two-year moratorium on any new UCONN 2000 and CSUS 2020 bond projects, (2) allow the completion of any UCONN 2000 or CSUS 2020 bond projects that have already commenced, and (3) require any bond allocations for UCONN 2000 and CSUS 2020 made after fiscal year 2013 to be approved by the State Bond Commission.
Statement of Purpose:
To restore a uniform bonding process for capital projects.
