AN ACT REQUIRING A STUDY OF THE DELIVERY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES TO PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Information Technology to study the delivery of information technology services to community-technical colleges, the Connecticut State University System and The University of Connecticut and recommend any efficiencies or improvements that can be made to such delivery.

Statement of Purpose: 

To study the information technology services provided to public institutions of higher education and examine whether changes or improvements to such services can be achieved.
