2421 AN ACT REQUIRING A STUDY OF THE DELIVERY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES TO PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION.

2623 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

28-Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Department of Information Technology shall study issues concerning the delivery of information technology services to the community-technical colleges, the Connecticut State University System and The University of Connecticut and any efficiencies or improvements that can be made to such delivery. Not later than January 1, 2012, the Commissioner of Information Technology shall report on such study to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to higher education in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes.
