AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF HUD CRITERIA IN AFFORDABLE HOUSING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 8-30g of the general statutes be amended to mandate the use of definitions and requirements specified by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development when classifying housing units as affordable for purposes of obtaining a certificate of affordable housing project completion.
Statement of Purpose:
To mandate the use of federal HUD criteria when determining whether housing qualifies as affordable under section 8-30g of the general statutes.
