AN ACT CLARIFYING THE NOTIFICATION REQUIREMENT BY INSURERS TO THE COMMISSIONER OF MOTOR VEHICLES OF THE CANCELLATION OF A PRIVATE PASSENGER MOTOR VEHICLE LIABILITY INSURANCE POLICY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 38a-343a of the general statutes be amended to clarify that insurers shall be required to notify the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles of the cancellation, in whole or in part, of a private passenger motor vehicle liability insurance policy.
Statement of Purpose:
To require insurers to notify the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles of the cancellation, in whole or in part, of a private passenger motor vehicle liability insurance policy.
