2121 AN ACT CONCERNING THE PENALTY FOR ASSISTED SUICIDE.

2323 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2525 That section 53a-56 of the general statutes be amended to provide that any person convicted of a violation of subdivision (2) of subsection (a) of said section by intentionally causing or aiding another person, other than by force, duress or deception, to commit suicide shall be sentenced to a term of imprisonment of which two years of the sentence imposed shall not be suspended or reduced by the court.
