2121 AN ACT CONCERNING CONSENT TO CHIROPRACTIC CERVICAL SPINE TREATMENTS.

2323 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2525 That chapter 372 of the general statutes be amended to require that a chiropractor obtain informed written consent from a patient prior to performing any procedure involving treatment of the patient's cervical spine. Such informed consent shall include information on the risks and possible side effects of such treatment, including the risk of chiropractic stroke.
