AN ACT CONCERNING THE REMOVAL OF INFORMATION FROM STATE AGENCY INTERNET WEB SITES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit any state agency to remove press releases and other information from such agency's Internet web sites, provided the information relates to actions taken against individuals by the agency and is no longer necessary to protect the public.
Statement of Purpose:
To give state agencies the discretion to remove information from their Internet web sites.
