AN ACT FREEZING STATE SPENDING AT THE 2008 LEVEL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit state spending for either year of the budget biennium ending June 30, 2013, at a level higher than that for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008.
Statement of Purpose:
To freeze state spending at the 2008 level for two years.
