AN ACT CONCERNING LEGISLATIVE APPROVAL OF SECURITIZATION PLANS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require that any legislation concerning the securitization of any state asset or future revenue stream must be approved by a two-thirds vote of each chamber of the General Assembly.

Statement of Purpose: 

To require two-thirds approval by the General Assembly of any securitization of state assets or revenue streams.
