AN ACT CONCERNING THE AUDITING OF STATE AGENCIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 2-90 of the general statutes be amended to require the Auditors of Public Accounts to audit all state agencies every two years and to require results-based accountability and budgeting based on the conclusions of each such audit.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase accountability in state agency spending.
